Family with a mission

Our vision

Jesus told us to pass on his lifestyle. This is why we focus on discipling new people. Jesus invested most of his time in twelve men and gave them the task to reach the world. In a few generations, people felt their positive influence in dozens of major cities, all the way to Rome.

Today the only way to reach a global audience with the Gospel in one generation is to multiply disciples. The Bible tells us to invest in people who are able to train others: Share these teachings with people you can trust. Then they will be able to teach others these same things. (2 Timothy 2:2 ERV) This is the way to go!

The first time God spoke to man, he talked about multiplication. Jesus called ordinary fishermen to change the world through multiplication of disciples. You can teach the next person and they do the same. When we learn something new, we do it – and pass it on. One step at a time, anyone can learn how to be a disciple maker!

Let's see how we can do these 3 things:

1. Your story

How do I share my story in one minute?

Your story about Jesus is extremely important! We fight evil by the blood of Jesus and our testimony, the Bible says. But how do we tell our stories?

In what way has Jesus changed your life? How did you meet him? Why do you follow him?
Write down your whole story, edit down to 10 sentences and learn it by heart. Then you are ready at all times and God will send open people your way.

With some practice, you will be able to share your story in one minute. Practice on your friends, remove difficult words and phrases. Pray for boldness and wisdom. God is with you!

2. The gospel

How do I share the Gospel in 3 minutes?

The Gospel is the power of God for salvation.

When you share the gospel, you release the power of God on people. Many people think that they know the gospel, but they don’t.

Below we share the John 3:16 illustration. Thousands of people have got their lives changed because someone shared this with them. Here it is:

3. God's ABC

What do we teach new believers?

Babies need milk.

New Christians need what the Bible calls the basic teaching about Jesus - God’s ABC. Hebrews 6:1-2. This teaching makes them grow up and enables them to train others.

God's ABC is about knowing Jesus.

In Hebrew 6:1-2 we find a list of subjects that the author calls the elementary teachings about Christ. The Book of Acts shows us how to help new believers take these steps.
